In this context, please note the following updates to the JWC Guidelines, effective 16 May 2026.
Key Enhancements
- QR + OAL involuntary rebooking (2+ days before departure): Agents may rebook itineraries maintaining the same origin and destination, using the original fare basis code regardless of fare value. This is subject to permitted routing, OAL flight numbers, and applicable RBDs.
- FIT tickets – partial refunds: In cases where automated refund calculation is not supported, up to 50% of YQ and YR may be deducted for partially utilized tickets.
What Remains Unchanged
The Extended JWC policy continues to apply to tickets issued on or before 15 May 2026, covering:
- Involuntary
- Voluntary
- Keep Ticket Open scenarios
