"Dear Agency Partner,
For customers impacted by the Middle East airspace closure, we’re offering flexible options for travel to, from or via Europe and Australia.
There is no impact to Qantas operated flights, including flights between Singapore and London, and between Perth and Paris. Although QF9 from Perth to London may operate via Singapore for a fuel stop due to adjustments required on flight paths and we will inform customers about this ahead of departure.
Please note that QF9 will operate under the updated flight number QF209. Departure time may be different to originally ticketed. Customers are advised to check the latest flight departure times before travelling.
Additional capacity on Qantas services
To support customers travelling to the UK and Europe, an additional One-Way A380 service from Sydney to London via Singapore will operate this Saturday, now available to book, to accommodate an additional 485 customers.
There is currently limited availability on Qantas direct services to and from Europe over the coming weeks. Customers can still book flights to Europe via a range of other routes including through Asia, Johannesburg, and North and South America.
Supporting your customers
A commercial policy outlining these options is available on Qantas Agency Connect. Affected customers have the option to:
- Rebook to another flight operated by the same carrier with the same origin and destination.
- Rebook to a flight operated by a different carrier, subject to normal fare rules, conditions, and route map restrictions.
- Retain the value of the ticket as a credit.
- Obtain a refund, where eligible.
Fare differences and taxes may apply when rebooking.
